When my Enttec DMX USB Pro gave out and Enttec wouldn't help me out even though I was a few months past the one-year warranty, I decided to try the DMXking. I was a little concerned about the lower price tag, but so far it has worked really well.
Making Pangolin laser software work with DMX To control Pangolin QuickShow or BEYOND software by DMX, simply the ENTTEC DMX Pro Interface needs to be connected to the laser PC.Then at “Settings DMX settings”, the correct COM port needs to be chosen and the button “Connect” to be clicked. With the MA onPC command wing and MA onPC fader wing MA Lighting has developed a sophisticated hardware extension perfectly suited for the grandMA2 onPC software. If you would like to use it as a lighting control, just connect an MA onPC command wing or MA onPC fader wing to your notebook or PC to run the show via this hardware.
It seems to be better built than the Enttec too, with one fewer jack to malfunction (and it was this extra jack which malfunctioned).I'm pretty sure this runs exactly the same drivers/firmware/whatever as the Enttec DMX USB Pro. In terms of interfacing with them via code (I write software for these devices) they are exactly the same. The Enttec DMX USB Pro MkII has slightly more functionality-mainly, it can control up to two universes-but, as I said before, I don't trust Enttec's hardware.Update: Six months later, still working great. More time will tell, though.
A little pricy, Not perfect but wow, version 6.32 is amazing. Easy to create layered scenes, think palettes in terms of console speak. Software is pretty reliable, 3D visualizer works ok.
Great Facebook and website forum support. Easy to create your own fixture profiles or request a profile on the forum by supplying a PDF / DMX manual for the fixture and they usually appear for download within 24 hours. This product appears to be actively used and developed as of the date I wrote this review and after trying many other software packages (freestyler, Enttec D-Pro, MyDMX2 to name a few) I have settled on this one.

Keep up the great work Chauvet! This is by far the best computer-based DMX interface that I have used.
The previous cheap USB-DMX controllers that I have tried have randomly locked up (and often), requiring 'hot-plugging' the interface and losing all control of my fixtures for about a minute. Not good! This controller works perfectly! No issues whatsoever! It also has two universes, which is a great touch.I can't say enough good things about this interface. It works great! My only complaint is that it has 5-pin XLR connections instead of 3-pin, so I had to buy adapters. But that's the only complaint I have. It works absolutely flawlessly with Freestyler x2!
